Kilinski | Van Wyk PLLC is seeking an energetic, intelligent, and motivated associate attorney to join the Firm. The Firm has two primary offices, one in Tallahassee and one in Tampa, and is expanding to the southwest area of the state. Candidates could be located anywhere in the state of Florida. The ideal candidate will have an interest in working with public entities and a demonstrated interest in business, policy, finance, construction and/or local government law. We work with a wide range of dynamic development-related and governmental clients with complex subject matter and offer the chance to practice in a unique and exciting environment.

Qualifications include graduating in the upper percentage of your law school class, excellent writing and research skills, public speaking ability and the willingness to immediately work directly with clients. Interest or exposure to litigation, public finance and/or real estate and other transactional work is desired. Relevant education, background or experience may include, but is not limited to, public financing, ethics and conflicts of interest for government, public contracting and procurement, land use, construction law, real estate, and legislative affairs/public policy. This position is expected to involve travel within the state of Florida to attend client meetings on a regular basis.
